These are wet-in-wet gouache which I'd never tried before. It's certainly a good way of loosening up because you can't easily control where the paint goes.

I've been finding myself stuck when using photo references recently and this was really helpful to start to break out of that trap. Unfortunately just as I'm starting to get out of my art slump it's very nearly time to go back to work!

One of the easiest and most fun things I find to do from imagination is take a landscape and turn into into a snowy scene! Hi friends! Its been such a long time since I posted, and due to work and home renovations I've barely had time to draw over the past few weeks. I'm also in one of those art slumps where I'm questioning what I really want to do with my art, and if I can make anything of it. I'm sure some of you know the feeling!
